Established in 1987, BLM serves over 800,000 clients annually through clinics and outreach programs nationwide. 💼 Internship Overview The Internal Audit Intern will support audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, reporting, and monitoring activities while gaining practical experience in internal auditing and risk management. 🔑 Key Responsibilities Audit Planning Support • Assist in organizing audit assignments and documentation Audit Fieldwork • Collect and organize supporting documents • Support internal control testing and process reviews • Conduct basic data analysis and identify inconsistencies Documentation & Reporting • Prepare audit working papers • Support drafting and compiling audit reports Follow-up & Monitoring • Track implementation of audit recommendations Special Assignments • Assist with investigations and special audit tasks 🎓 Qualifications & Skills • Recently completed degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related field • Basic understanding of accounting and internal audit principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills • Good communication and organizational abilities • High integrity and willingness to learn
