📍 LOCATION: Blantyre

📌 OVERVIEW

SME Clinic is recruiting on behalf of its client, a fully integrated, multidisciplinary security and facilities management company, for the position of Head of Operations.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the company’s operational functions, ensuring efficient systems, effective supervision and consistent service quality across all client sites.

The role will also focus on operational excellence, accountability, performance management and continuous improvement to support the company’s growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set operational plans, standards and performance measures.
• Oversee Regional Managers, Supervisors and service delivery teams.
• Lead contract mobilisation, resource planning and operational reviews.
• Manage serious incidents, service escalations and corrective actions.
• Improve reporting, training, compliance and operational efficiency.
• Work with commercial teams to ensure new commitments can be delivered effectively.

🎓 REQUIREMENTS

• Substantial senior operations experience in security, facilities management or a comparable service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, dispersed teams and multiple contracts.
• Strong experience in service quality, risk management and client engagement.
• Excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• A relevant degree and/or professional qualification is expected.
• Advanced credentials in operations, business or management will be highly regarded.
