CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR THE 2026 MAY INTAKES
The Institute invites qualified candidates to apply for the 2026 May Intake in these health programs: Diploma in Nursing Midwifery Technician, Diploma in Public Health and Diploma in Clinical Medicine Upgrading. The institute is a top-Performing CHAM College with a 100% pass rate in Licensure Examinations.
PROGRAMS OFFERED ARE ALL NON-RESIDENTIAL
A. Diploma in Nursing Midwifery Technician (NMT) This is a full time 36-month Program.
• Candidates should be at least 16 to 45 years of age.
• Candidates should have a valid Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) its equivalent with 4 credits including English, Biology, and Physical Science or (as separate subjects) Chemistry or physics, plus one of the following science subjects: Mathematics, Agriculture, Geography, Home Economics, or General Science.
NOTE: If Mathematics is not a credit, it should at least be a strong pass of 7 points
B. Diploma in Clinical Medicine (DCM) Upgrading This is a full-time 18-month Program
• Applicant must be qualified Medical Assistant who has served for a minimum of one-year post internship work experience
•Candidates should be at least 17 to 40 years of age.
• Should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent.
• Must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi
C. Diploma in Public Health (DPH) This is a full time 36-month Program.
•Candidates should be at least 16 to 45 years of age
•Candidates should have a valid Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with 4 credits including English, and any 2 Science Subjects.
FEES CONTRIBUTION PER YEAR
Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery Technician: MK1,092, 500.00
Diploma in Clinical Medicine (Upgrading): MK950,000.00
Diploma in Public Health: MK950,000.00

A non-refundable processing fee of MK15,000 should be deposited into the following bank account.

Proof of payment should be sent with the application letter. The bank deposit slip should bear the name of the candidate. Applications should reach the office no later than Friday, 3rd April 2026.
