About the Center for Inclusive Policy (CIP) Fellowship Program
The Center for Inclusive Policy (CIP) invites applications for its prestigious Fellowship Program, a fully online, 12-month initiative designed to empower early-career researchers with disabilities from low- and middle-income countries.
Job Title: CIP Fellowship Program for Emerging Researchers with Disabilities in LMICs
Job Location: Online (Global South and LMICs)
Closing Date: July 31, 2026, at midnight EDT
Contract: 12-month fully online fellowship with stipends and support.
This program aims to strengthen local research capacity, foster global policy engagement, and support disability advocates in advancing inclusive social policies.
Program Highlights
Monthly stipend of USD 1,000 for 12 months
Up to USD 2,000 for research costs, conferences, or training
Coverage of reasonable accommodation costs to facilitate participation
Online training curriculum led by leading researchers

Candidate Profile
The program seeks applicants who:
Are persons with disabilities based in LMICs or the Global South
Have a basic undergraduate degree and interest in social policy and disability equality
Demonstrate motivation to develop research skills
Are proficient in spoken and written English (interpretation available for sign language users)
Are early in their research careers with some prior research experience
