The Truth Many Youth Are Living A young person can finish school, work hard, and still struggle to find employment. Some have degrees. Some have skills. Some have big dreams. But the reality is painful: Jobs are few Connections matter more than qualifications Many internships are unpaid Youth support systems are weak And slowly, hope starts to fade.
The Youth Are Not the Problem Malawi does not lack talent. Malawi lacks enough platforms, investments, and systems that allow young people to grow. We have brilliant minds in: Technology Agriculture Business Education Creative industries But too many are underutilized.
Social Media Shows One Life, Reality Shows Another

What Needs to Change? If Malawi wants development, youth empowerment cannot be optional. We need: More youth job programs Support for startups and innovation Skills training beyond degrees Fair recruitment systems Real investment in young people Because youth are not tomorrow — they are today.
A Message to Every Young Person Reading This Even if doors are closed right now, do not stop building yourself. Keep learning. Keep applying. Keep improving your skills. Your time will come. And most importantly: You are not alone. Thousands are walking the same road — and change is possible.
