CICOPS SCHOLARSHIPS 2027 IN ITALY (FULLY FUNDED)

The CICOPS Scholarships 2027 in Italy program is a fully funded initiative to promote international cooperation with developing countries. It provides 8 scholarships for visiting scholars to conduct research at the University of Pavia for 4 to 12 weeks. Applicants must have a PhD and be currently employed by a university or research institution in an eligible country. SCHOLARSHIP SUMMARY Country: Italy Location: Pavia Host: University of Pavia + EDISU Duration: 4 to 12 weeks Benefit: Fully Funded Deadline: 10 June 2026 BENEFITS Travel expenses covered Meals provided through university canteen services Accommodation expenses covered Health insurance provided Stipend of 150.00 Euros per week Opportunity to gain international research experience ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Currently residing in a World Bank low-income, lower-middle income, or upper-middle income economy PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) obtained by the application deadline and currently employed by a university / higher education institution Currently employed (teaching/lecturer/research/technical staff), for at least two years by: a university / higher-education institution, or a public/non-profit research centre, or an intergovernmental/international public institution (only if research/technical duties are documented), based in an eligible country Applicants must demonstrate recent research activity through at least 2 authored scientific publications/outputs in the field of the proposed joint research
