Freelance / per shoot | Remote-friendly | Photography + Video | Open to all regions About the project Malawistock.com is building a library of authentic, positive commercial stock photographs that reflect real life in Malawi. We are a remote digital agency, and we are looking for skilled Malawian photographers to join us on a shoot-by-shoot basis. This is an ongoing freelance opportunity. You will be hired per shoot, work to a creative brief we provide, and collaborate with us remotely from anywhere in the country. What the work involves • Shooting high-quality photography and video to our creative briefs • Editing images and footage to our standards before delivery • Coordinating with models on shoot days (we handle model sourcing, fees, and releases separately) • Signing a contractor agreement with us before your first shoot • Communicating and coordinating with our remote team throughout each project What we are looking for • A professional camera — DSLR or mirrorless (no smartphones) • Preferably Canon or Nikon; other professional systems are welcome • A telephoto lens (ideally 70–200mm or similar) and a wide/standard zoom (ideally 18–55mm or similar) • Experience shooting people and real-life commercial subjects • Ability to edit photos and video to a brief — not just capture, but deliver polished work • Reliability, professionalism, and clear communication What we pay Rates are reviewed regularly in line with inflation. Here is what a typical shoot pays: Photography fee MK 35,000 Per shoot Editing fee MK 10,000 Per shoot Extras covered

• reimbursed Transport, data, props* *Reasonable transport, data costs, and any props required are reimbursed when agreed in advance. Reasonable withdrawal fees are covered. Models and their associated fees (reasonable transport, releases, withdrawals) are paid separately by us — this is not your responsibility.
