Successful applicants will receive training, mentorship, upskilling opportunities, policy advocacy exposure, and future climate leadership opportunities while contributing to an important global climate accountability initiative. About The Program As part of the Paris Agreement, countries worldwide submit Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) outlining their commitments toward addressing climate change. Through this initiative, selected ambassadors will review and analyze their country’s climate commitments using a gender equity and intergenerational justice lens. The findings generated by ambassadors will contribute to the NDC Equity Tracker, a global accountability tool used to monitor climate ambition and advocate for stronger climate action. Key Responsibilities Selected ambassadors will be expected to: Review and analyze their country’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) Participate in scheduled training and capacity-building sessions Conduct policy analysis using gender and youth-focused frameworks Submit completed climate policy analysis within program deadlines Contribute research findings toward the global NDC Equity Tracker initiative Engage in climate advocacy learning and policy discussions Program Benefits Participants selected for the program will receive: USD $100 stipend upon participation Specialized climate policy training Mentorship and professional development support Skills development in policy analysis and advocacy Exposure to global climate governance spaces Networking opportunities with international climate leaders Future opportunities within climate advocacy initiatives.
