Eligibility Criteria To qualify for nomination, an officer must meet the following requirements: Employment Status: Must be a Public Servant. Age: Minimum of 25 years and not more than 50 years old. Experience: Must have 5 years’ working experience in a field relative to their study. Education Level: Must not already hold or be undertaking a Master’s degree or equivalent. Previous Awards: Must not have previously received a long-term Australia award. Organizational Alignment: Must be on the organization’s priority training plan. Commitment: Agree to sign a Training Bond and Training Undertaking prior to proceeding on training. Contract Status: Not a project staff or a Public Servant hired on contract/non-permanent terms. Current Obligations: Not currently serving a Training Bond period from previous government or partner-funded training. Application Process & Documentation Before submitting the online application to the Australian Government, candidates must collect a letter of endorsement from the Department of Human Resource Management and Development. To receive this letter, the following documents must be submitted: A letter from the Head of Institution in support of the application. A letter of conditional appointment on probation (PSR 19 Form)
