Education & Research Officer – Teach Us Consent Global Teach Us Consent Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education & Research Officer to support its Research, Evaluation and Education pillar. Job Title: Education & Research Officer Location: Australia (Remote with Hybrid Options Available) Closing Date: 3 July 2026 at 5:00 PM (AEST) Contract Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with possibility of extension)Jobs The successful candidate will contribute to evidence-based initiatives aimed at eradicating normalised youth-on-youth sexual violence through research, education, policy support, monitoring and evaluation. This position offers an opportunity to work with experts, researchers, civil society organisations, youth advisory groups, activists, and diverse community stakeholders. The role focuses on advancing projects related to porn literacy, knowledge translation, research dissemination, education resource development, and policy analysis across multiple global workstreams addressing emerging drivers of sexual violence. The position is fully remote with hybrid working options available, with preference given to candidates able to travel and work in Sydney or Melbourne. Essential Requirements Applicants should demonstrate: Knowledge of the gender-based violence (GBV) sector, including sociology, gender theory, porn literacy, online harassment, technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), and violence against women and girls (VAWG) At least 1–2 years of experience within a GBV prevention organisation or a closely related sector Experience working within academia, research institutions, international organisations or similar environments Experience in curriculum design, pedagogy and/or teaching Research experience in educational or professional settings Knowledge of academic publishing and peer-review processes Experience conducting literature reviews Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks Experience developing knowledge products and research outputs Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong organisational and project management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience working with LGBTQIA+, CALD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with disabilities, and rural or remote communities Policy analysis experience A university qualification in Equality, Education, Gender and Inclusion Studies, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Cybercrime, Gender Studies or a related field Experience engaging diverse young people, including those with lived experience
