Established in August 2023, the Felistus Gazamiyala Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to empowering young girls and women through educational support, entrepreneurship training, and economic empowerment initiatives. Our mission is to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable groups and contribute to sustainable community development.

Position: Volunteer Field Officer

Number of Positions: 5

Location: Mangochi District

Minimum Qualification

• Diploma in Community Development

Requirements

• Must be a resident of Mangochi District.
• Strong passion for community development and women's empowerment.
• Willingness to serve as a volunteer (allowances will be provided).
• Being a Muslim will be considered an added advantage.

About the Role

The Volunteer Field Officer will support the implementation of programs aimed at improving the lives of girls, women, and children. These initiatives include promoting access to education, providing business and entrepreneurship training, and creating opportunities for economic empowerment. The Foundation works with local and international partners to address challenges affecting vulnerable populations and strengthen community resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of community-based projects and activities.
• Support women and girls participating in empowerment programs.
• Conduct field visits and engage with community members and stakeholders.
• Help organize training workshops, awareness campaigns, and other outreach activities.
• Collect and report field information as required.
