🚗 VACANCY: DRIVER — TOBACCO COMMISSION

The Tobacco Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Driver (Grade TC 10).

📍 Duty Stations: Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Limbe & Kasungu

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Drive Commission vehicles as assigned.
• Check vehicle roadworthiness before use, including fuel, oil, brake fluid and tyre pressure.
• Maintain vehicle accessories such as the jack, spare tyre, wheel spanner and warning triangles.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Report vehicle defects promptly.
• Maintain records and report on COF, road permits, insurance and servicing.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in a safe and secure location.
• Follow required procedures in the event of accidents.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel consumption, repairs, servicing and replacement of parts.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have:

• MSCE
• PSV driving licence
• Defensive Driving Certificate
• At least 5 years' experience in the same field
• Chauffeur qualifications are an added advantage.
