๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities

Finance Management

  • Develop and review financial, procurement and administrative policies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and financial management systems.
  • Coordinate annual audits and follow up on recommendations.
  • Lead organisational budgeting and financial monitoring.
  • Prepare management reports and financial statements.
  • Coordinate financial management with partners and funders.
  • Monitor project finances, financial performance and value for money.
  • Establish and monitor financial risk-management arrangements.

Administration Management

  • Oversee administrative systems and procedures.
  • Support recruitment and staff training.
  • Manage procurement and approved suppliers.
  • Oversee transport management and organisational assets.
  • Maintain asset registers, filing and archiving systems.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive working environment.
  • Supervise support staff.

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA โ€” mandatory
  • At least 7 yearsโ€™ experience in financial and administrative management
  • At least 3 yearsโ€™ management experience within an NGO or overseeing donor programmes/grants
  • Experience designing and implementing financial management systems
  • Experience in budgeting, financial monitoring and administrative management
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAGE and ERP systems โ€” essential

Professional training in Administration or Human Resource Management is an added advantage.

โญ Key Skills

Strong financial management, analytical, leadership, communication, organisational, problem-solving and people-management skills are required.
