🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have:
MSCE
Diploma in Automobile Mechanics or Motor Vehicle Mechanics from a recognised institution.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
🔧 KEY DUTIES
The successful candidate will:
Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts.
Initiate and complete workshop job cards.
Supervise workshop staff and prepare monthly workshop reports.
Prepare vehicle diagnosis reports following accidents.
Maintain and update vehicle service records.
Conduct vehicle test drives before and after servicing.
Maintain a database of spare parts and vehicle repairs.
Assess vehicle condition and recommend vehicles for rehabilitation or board-off where necessary.
Prepare Council vehicles for roadworthiness tests.
Certify vehicle roadworthiness after maintenance.
Assign tasks to workshop staff.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
