Role Overview
The Fees Officer manages student fee collections, payment processing, and debt recovery while maintaining accurate financial records and engaging with parents and prospective families. Responsibilities include reconciling payments across multiple channels, issuing receipts, following up on outstanding accounts, and supporting school enrolment and retention initiatives.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Marketing from a recognized institution
- •At least 2 years of relevant working experience in accounts receivable, debt recovery, sales, or school administration
- •Proven sales and customer relationship management skills
- •Direct experience dealing with customers, clients, parents, or stakeholders
- •Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation, and record-keeping skills
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- •Knowledge of payment processing and debt recovery procedures
- •Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- •High degree of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism
- •Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- •Strong organizational and time-management skills
