We’re Hiring: Program Manager, Europe Role Overview The Program Manager, Europe, will lead People Powered’s contribution to Nets4Dem, a major EU-funded consortium comprising civil society organizations, cities, universities, and democracy innovators. This role involves designing impactful programs, facilitating cross-border partnerships, and supporting European institutions in citizen engagement efforts Key Responsibilities Develop and manage programs, learning journeys, peer exchanges, and practical tools for public institutions and partners Foster collaboration across sectors and borders, translating innovative ideas into tangible democratic change Steward partnerships within the Nets4Dem consortium and contribute to organizational strategy and fundraising efforts Engage with local governments, practitioners, researchers, funders, and movement leaders to promote participatory democracy Candidate profile Ideal candidates are comfortable navigating complex environments, building trust across cultures, and enthusiastic about collaboration. Prior European experience and the right to work in the EU are essential, with a strong encouragement for applicants from the Republic of Ireland. Key Responsibilities Create training content, tools, mentorship programs, and learning resources for diverse audiences Support delivery of international programs, including peer learning and capacity-building sessions Assist in coordinating project activities, supporting participants, and ensuring smooth program operations Candidate profile Candidates should be passionate about democracy, skilled in content creation and program coordination, and eager to support community-led change initiatives across the globe.
