Malawi National Council of Sports VACANCIES – (Re-advertisement) Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) is a statutory body with mandate to develop, promote, encourage and control all forms of sport in the country. In order to fulfill its mandate, MNCS invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill various vacant positions as follows: Internal Auditor Grade: CS5 Reporting to: Senior Internal Auditor Position function: To evaluate internal controls, risk management and compliance processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and regulatory adherence. Main duties 1. Assessing and recommending for the improvement of Council’s governance processes 2. Examining and evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of internal control and risk management systems 3. Reviewing the Council’s compliance with established policies, procedures, regulations and statutory requirements 4. Preparing Internal Audit reports and undertaking follow-up audits to assess implementation of agreed actions Qualifications and Experience • Degree in Internal Auditing/Accountancy • 4 years internal auditing experience • Knowledge of Global Internal Auditing Standards • Excellent oral and written communication skills • ICT skills Applications with detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), copies of Certificates/Licenses and three traceable referees should be addressed to: The Chief Executive Officer Malawi National Council of Sports P.
