Role Overview
Coordinate and supervise security operations across CMST facilities in Mzuzu, Lilongwe, and Blantyre. Assess security needs, manage contracted security providers, oversee deployment of security personnel, and ensure compliance with security procedures and systems. Prepare monthly security reports and conduct tactical patrols and inspections.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree in Security Studies, Security Management, Criminology, Risk Management, Public Safety Management, Military Science, Law Enforcement, or related field
- •Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent
- •Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in security management, law enforcement, military service, or related field
- •Excellent analytical, investigative, and intelligence-gathering skills
- •Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
- •Ability to manage conflict and resolve complex security issues
- •Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- •High integrity and professionalism
- •Ability to prepare security reports and advisories
- •Knowledge of modern electronic security systems and security risk management
- •Professional training in intelligence, investigations, risk assessment, or security management (advantageous)
- •Retired senior police or military officers preferred
