About the Role The Digital, AI and Innovation (DAI) Hub is UNDP's central platform for systems transformation, inclusive digitalization, and innovation. This internship supports the Hub's work across multiple thematic areas including systems transformation, programme delivery, data policy and governance, data analytics, partnerships and communications, process efficiency, digital product design, and research/knowledge management. The start date is flexible and needs-based; selected applicants can expect to hear back anytime between April and the end of 2026. ⚡ Areas Interns May Support 👉 Systems Transformation & Innovation — research, policy synthesis, knowledge products 👉 Programme Delivery & Capacity Building — digital/data/AI initiatives, toolkits, trainings 👉 Data Policy & Governance — governance frameworks, policy briefs, advocacy 👉 Data Analytics & Insights — dashboards, data cleaning, monitoring and evaluation 👉 Partnerships & Strategic Communications — outreach, proposals, content creation 👉 Process Efficiency & Resource Management — SOPs, trackers, operational planning 👉 Product Design, Build & Management — digital products and AI tools for UNDP country teams 👉 Research & Knowledge Management — knowledge platforms, briefing materials, KM content

🎓 Eligibility 👉 Enrolled in a graduate programme (Master's or higher); OR 👉 In the final year of an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree; OR 👉 Graduated with a university degree and, if selected, able to start within one year of graduation 👉 Interest or experience in one of the workstream areas is desirable

🎁 Terms 👉 UNDP interns receive a monthly stipend (rate varies by duty location) 👉 If externally financially supported, UNDP pays the difference (if any) up to the applicable stipend, subject to third-party rules 👉 All other costs are borne by the intern or sponsoring institution 👉 Proof of health insurance enrollment required 👉 Interns are not UNDP staff and may not represent UNDP officially
