Smart Deliveries, a leading courier and delivery service provider in Malawi, is committed to efficient and reliable logistics. We are looking for dedicated, professional Security Officers to join our dynamic team and ensure the safety of company premises, assets, staff, and visitors.
Job Summary
We need security officers who will work closely with the Operations team to provide secure delivery services, follow company procedures, and perform duties with efficiency, vigilance, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor & patrol premises for safety & security.
- Control access of staff, visitors & vehicles.
- Protect company assets, property & personnel from theft or damage.
- Report suspicious activities, incidents & security breaches promptly.
- Conduct regular security checks & inspections.
- Maintain security logs & incident reports.
- Enforce company rules, regulations & safety procedures.
- Respond to emergencies such as alarms, disturbances or accidents.
- Assist in crowd control when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
- Previous security or related field experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures & emergency response.
- Physically fit for shift work (including nights & weekends).
- High integrity, alertness & attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions & work with minimal supervision.
- Basic report‑writing skills.
