Job Title: Short-term Consultancy as Field Work Data Collector (FWDC) Location: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bangladesh, Barbados, Benin, Burkina Faso, Canada, Central African Republic, DRC, England, Ethiopia, Ghana, Grenada, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, India, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Namibia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Pakistan, Republic of Cyprus, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania Closing Date: Ongoing Contract: Approximately 3 months

About Evidence Based Solutions EB Consulting (PTY) LTD aka Evidence Based Solutions (EBS) is a pioneering research organization committed to advancing knowledge and contributing to societal betterment through rigorous academic and public health studies.
Currently, EBS is conducting a significant study across 31 Commonwealth and selected African countries, focusing on data collection and analysis related to Gender-Based Violence and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights.
Job Description Key responsibilities include visiting hospitals and health facilities, conducting interviews, inspecting equipment, and inputting data into an online system. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to impactful research while engaging with diverse cultures.
Position Requirements Independent travel to remote field sites Use established research protocols and techniques for data collection Follow detailed procedures for accurate data capture Key Responsibilities Visit assigned medical facilities for on-site data collection Interview facility management and staff to understand operational processes and challenges Gather insights from patients related to gender-based violence and sexual reproductive health Inspect and catalogue medical equipment Collect comprehensive information on facility services and capabilities Input data accurately and promptly into the online system Handle all data with confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Translate and record responses in English during interviews Maintain professionalism and sensitivity when dealing with sensitive topics Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, or a related health field Prior experience in gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health research, or data collection Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with MS Office and online data collection tools Own laptop and mobile internet access required Ability to operate tablets/laptops proficiently Fluency in local languages is a plus Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Flexible and adaptable to various environments Equal Opportunity Statement EBS is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, disability, or protected status.
