POSITION: FARM MANAGER

Location: Blantyre

Kelfoods Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Farm Manager.

Role Description

To oversee and optimize all operations of a commercial poultry layer farm, ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of poultry production including feeding, vaccination, and animal health Ensure strict implementation of biosecurity protocols Supervise staff and promote effective team performance Monitor and improve egg production performance metrics Oversee feed, water systems, and farm infrastructure Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate records and reporting systems Manage farm logistics, stock control, and procurement processes

Qualifications

Proven experience in poultry or farm management Strong understanding of agricultural and livestock practices Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (preferred)
