Job Opportunity: Fully Remote Research Assistant at TCI Global Transforming Communities for Inclusion (TCI Global) is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to support the drafting, structuring, and finalization of key reports from their ongoing projects.
Job Title: Research Assistant Job Location: Fully Remote Closing Date: 10 May 2026 Contract Duration: June 1, 2026 – November 30, 2026 Consultancy Amount: USD 3,500
This short-term, fully remote role offers an opportunity to contribute to disability rights and inclusion initiatives at an international level.
Position Summary TCI is managing multiple workstreams requiring consolidation, organization, and drafting of reports, briefs, and documents.
The Research Assistant will provide structured writing and documentation support, transforming raw inputs into clear, well-structured, CRPD-aligned documents, working closely with the Secretariat team and reporting to the Director of Advocacy & Research.

Key Responsibilities Drafting and Editing Support Support the creation and refinement of reports and documents from existing materials.
Organize notes, minutes, transcripts, and related inputs
Conduct desk research to address information gaps, including policy references and legal frameworks
Documentation and Organization Maintain organized records of drafts, track changes, and final versions
Ensure documents are submission-ready, including formatting, references, and internal consistency
Collaboration and Feedback Engage in weekly touch base calls and email updates with the Secretariat Incorporate feedback to produce finalized reports
Specific Deliverables TCI Plenary Report: Draft, structure, and finalize a comprehensive report on the 2024 plenary event
Country Mission Reports: Draft and finalize five reports on country missions conducted between 2023-2024
Deinstitutionalization Webinar Report: Restructure and edit an existing draft report on webinar series
All reports must include standard components such as executive summaries, key highlights, conclusions, recommendations, and references.

Minimum of 2 years in disability rights, inclusion documentation, or evidence of CRPD-aligned drafting Strong report drafting, editing, and structuring skills Ability to synthesize raw inputs into coherent documents Excellent time management, ability to work with feedback, and meet deadlines Discretion handling sensitive information Basic referencing and fact-checking skills Preference for candidates with disabilities or connected to the international disability movement
