Job Opportunity: Program Manager for Impact and Field Building at Neuromatch – Fully Remote, International Role Neuromatch is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the Impact Scholars Program and support a portfolio of career development and field-building initiatives, including MEXA and the AI Sentience Scholars Program.
Job Title: Program Manager, Careers & Field Building Job Location: Fully Remote (Global applicants encouraged) Closing Date: Sunday, 17 May 2026 Contract: Fixed 18-month term with potential extension (full-time or part-time, minimum 0.8 FTE)
This fully remote, mission-driven role offers substantial ownership and the opportunity to influence global scientific communities.
The successful candidate will oversee the application, selection, and delivery of the Impact Scholars Program, manage external partnerships, and support other programs’ operational needs.
Key Responsibilities Impact Scholars Program Management Lead end-to-end planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of the annual Impact Scholars Program, supporting approximately 70 scholars per cohort Manage application review, selection, onboarding, and pairing of scholars with mentors Organize workshops, training sessions, and community events Collaborate with communications teams to ensure effective participant updates and outreach Develop and refine impact reporting mechanisms and a structured theory of change Maintain operational workflows, records, and volunteer coordination
External Partnerships Build and maintain collaborations with organizations such as Meta, the International Brain Laboratory, and others to develop research projects and datasets Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with program objectives Coordinate with partners on project scope, deliverables, and collaboration efforts Facilitate partnerships for professional development initiatives
Cross-Program Delivery Support Support coordination of other Neuromatch initiatives like MEXA and AISS Ensure seamless execution of program timelines and participant communications Assist in organizing workshops, events, and data collection for program evaluation Maintain operational systems and identify opportunities for program scalability and improvement
Benefits and Working Environment Competitive salary: $70,000 – $75,000 USD (geography-based adjustment) Fully remote with flexible working hours Benefits include health and dental coverage, 401(k) or pension contributions, unlimited annual leave, paid parental leave, and summer/winter closure days
