The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), one of Germany's leading political foundations, offers fully funded scholarships for outstanding international students including Malawians to pursue postgraduate studies at universities in Germany. The scholarship supports individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, social engagement and leadership potential, and who share KAS values of democracy, freedom and human dignity. The scholarship covers: Monthly living stipend (approximately €1,000 per month) Health insurance contributions Study and research allowance Language course support (German) Participation in KAS political education events and seminars Access to a global network of KAS scholars and alumni Experience & Qualifications: Open to international students including Malawians Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic results Applying for a Master's or PhD programme at a German university Demonstrated social engagement, leadership and commitment to democratic values Strong motivation letter and two academic references required German language skills are an advantage but not always mandatory
