DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and report on office and houses maintenance repairs
• Develop and update buildings documentation, including maintenance schedules and asset registers
• Manage daily work planning and scheduling for planned and preventive maintenance
• Act as the point of contact for contractors and suppliers during ongoing projects
• Prepare and process procurement documentation, including Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress
• Support in preparing project reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Provide inspection checklists for work executed and quality checks for completed works
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed during all project activities
• Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Construction)
• Experience in maintenance planning, team and contractor management, or facilities management
• Leadership capabilities with good communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment
