POSITION: PHUKA PROGRAM COORDINATOR

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Standard Bank, in partnership with AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa), is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Phuka Program Coordinator under the AGRA Phuka Incubation Project.
The Programme aims to strengthen entrepreneurship, agricultural productivity, and youth-led enterprise development through incubation hubs across Malawi.
The Phuka Program Coordinator will ensure smooth implementation of program activities across multiple hubs, supporting training delivery, coordinating field operations, and facilitating effective engagement between AGRA, implementing partners, and hub managers. The role focuses on coordination, logistics, beneficiary engagement, and partner support.

Field Coordination & Hub Support
Coordinate and oversee operations across multiple hubs Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and resolve issues Support hub managers with logistics and participant mobilization Ensure timely availability of materials and resources Training & Capacity Support
Support trainers during program delivery Monitor adherence to programme curriculum Capture attendance and session summaries Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain communication with stakeholders Support planning and scheduling of activities Escalate operational risks Represent the programme at engagements Operational & Administrative Support
Coordinate logistics (travel, venues, materials) Maintain programme records Support weekly reporting Ensure compliance with guidelines QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree Development Studies, Agriculture, Business Administration or relevant field 2-3 years’ experience in project coordination, field work, or community engagement Experience with entrepreneurship hubs, youth programs, or agricultural development is an added advantage Valid Driver’s Licence SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong coordination and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities across regions Digital literacy for documentation and communication Proactive, solution-focused mindset REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports to: Program Manager Location: Various Hubs Across Target Districts
