St John’s Institute for Health (formerly called St John’s College of Nursing & Midwifery) is one of the eleven (11) Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) member training colleges operating in Malawi. The Institute was opened in 1963 by the Medical Missionary of Mary Sisters (MMM) and is the Health Training Arm of the Catholic Health Commission, under the proprietorship of the Catholic Diocese of Mzuzu. VACANCIES B. CORPORATE DEPARTMENT Maintenance Supervisor (Grade K) Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop, review and monitor the implementation of maintenance policies, schedules, procedures and budget Inspect facilities to determine problems requiring attention. Maintain inventory of materials and equipment Enforce adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Carry out new construction works Determine quantities and costs of maintenance materials and labour Prepare reports REMUNERATION St Johns Institute for Health will provide remuneration packages as prescribed by CHAM and the Government.
