The KOICA Scholarship Program provides fully funded master's and PhD programs at top Korean universities in development-focused fields such as public management, climate change, economic development, health policy, agriculture, AI digital innovation and infectious disease control. Malawi is listed among the eligible African partner countries.
The scholarship covers full tuition, round-trip airfare, a monthly stipend, settlement allowance, accommodation and health insurance.
Experience & Qualifications: For Master's programmes, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and preferably have at least 2 years of relevant work experience; for Doctoral programmes, applicants must hold a Master's degree with around 3 years of post-graduate experience. Applicants are generally expected to be government employees or have strong institutional nomination, and are preferably under 40 years of age.
