Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship 2026/2027 — Fully Funded Master's at SOAS University of London

Applications are now open for the 2026/27 Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship at SOAS University of London, supporting future leaders committed to Africa's development. Funded by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, the scholarship provides two awards for students undertaking a full-time, one-year taught Master's degree beginning in the 2026/27 academic year. Each award has a total value of £45,479, covering tuition fees and providing a maintenance stipend. Preference will be given to applicants ordinarily resident in Africa and to candidates demonstrating a strong interest in governance and development issues on the continent.

Experience & Qualifications: Eligible applicants must be overseas fee-status students, hold a minimum equivalent of a UK 2:1 bachelor's degree, and have secured an unconditional offer from SOAS before the scholarship selection process. Preference is given to students ordinarily resident in Africa with demonstrated interest in African governance and development.
