Centenary Bank is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of: CYBER SECURITY MANAGER 📍 Location: Head Office, Lilongwe The Bank is looking for a skilled and strategic Cyber Security Manager to strengthen and oversee enterprise-wide information security systems, manage cyber risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support secure digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk management in line with ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST standards • Oversee security operations, threat monitoring, and incident response activities • Manage identity and access controls to ensure secure system access • Lead vulnerability management and threat-hunting initiatives • Maintain secure IT infrastructure including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems • Manage third-party and vendor-related security risks • Promote secure software and application development practices • Prepare executive reports on security posture, risks, and incidents Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards • Proven experience in security operations, incident response, and risk management Core Competencies • Cyber risk management and governance • Ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment • Digital forensics and incident investigation • IT audit and compliance • Leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making
