Dental Therapist

Zomba Diocese Health Commission, operating under the Social Directorate of the Catholic Diocese of Zomba, is recruiting a Dental Therapist for St. Robert Health Centre. The role involves delivering oral health services within a Catholic-run health facility focused on preventive, curative and rehabilitative care for surrounding communities. Key responsibilities include carrying out simple surgical tooth extractions, scaling, polishing and filling teeth, conducting oral health education, prescribing drugs and treating patients with oral problems, making and fitting artificial teeth, conducting oral preventive dental programmes, and recording patient data in relevant registers following guidelines.
