Portland Cement Malawi Limited Portland Cement Malawi Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated team players and result driven candidates for consideration to fill the following positions; MECHANICAL ENGINEER TRAINEE (X2) Location: Balaka and Blantyre Role Summary The Mechanical engineer trainee will support mechanical design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities across plant operations. The role involves assisting senior engineers with equipment inspections, preparing technical reports, and participating in continuous improvement and safety initiatives. This is an entry-level position with structured on-the-job training and mentorship. Qualifications & Work Experience • Degree in mechanical engineering or related field. • 1-2 years’ practical experience or industrial attachments; internships or final-year project experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, CAD familiarity, strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Good communication, teamwork, willingness to work onsite and follow safety procedures.
