🎓 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Health Systems or a related field, with a clinical background in clinical medicine or nursing.
• Registration with the relevant health regulatory body in Malawi.
• At least 3 years of experience in both clinical and public health fields.
• Knowledge of Catholic Social Teachings, which is a MUST.

A postgraduate qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating communication and information management between the Health Department and health facilities.
• Supporting financial management, administration and compliance with health service standards.
• Identifying funding opportunities and preparing grant applications.
• Supporting health service coordination, staff recruitment and transfers.
• Assisting with monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, reporting and staff training.
• Contributing to strategic planning and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies.

💻 REQUIRED SKILLS

Applicants should possess:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to prepare activity budgets and reports.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluency in English, Tumbuka and other relevant local languages.
• Knowledge of Nkonde and Lambya languages will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work outside normal working hours when required.
