Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize GenAI and LLM-based features within Girl Effect’s digital platforms Design and implement complex conversational pathways for mental wellbeing and health interventions Ensure user safety through responsible AI practices, rigorous evaluation metrics, and secure chatbot interactions Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including data scientists, subject matter experts, and developers Guide architectural decisions and contribute to the organization’s AI strategy Conduct experiments, code reviews, and contribute to the technical growth of the team Represent Girl Effect’s data science vision at events and partner meetings Ideal Candidate Profile Postgraduate degree in Data Science or relevant discipline Proven experience building with modern AI frameworks and models like GPT, Gemini, Claude Deep understanding of LLMs and GenAI technologies Passionate about responsible AI and safeguarding vulnerable users Skilled communicator with ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a technical roadmap in an agile environment Mission-driven with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on girls’ lives Why Join Girl Effect?
