Role Overview

Lead all in-country monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities across One Acre Fund Malawi's Agriculture, Agroforestry, and Carbon portfolios. Design and execute rigorous impact evaluations and large-scale research projects to inform strategic program direction. Manage a team of 100+ MEL staff, oversee quality assurance frameworks, and translate evaluation findings into actionable recommendations for program teams and organizational leadership.

Requirements

•Strong academic or professional experience designing and implementing evaluations and analysing data, including large-scale data collection and field team management
•Mastery of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation designs and evaluation concepts
•Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical techniques used in impact evaluation (propensity score matching, difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity, etc.)
•Proficiency in statistical software such as Stata or R
•Demonstrated project management skills with ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously
•Clear and compelling written communication style with attention to design and visual presentation
•Nationals of or those with extensive professional background in One Acre Fund's countries of operation preferred
