POSITION: SALES OFFICERS (2 POSITIONS)

The company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill two (2) Sales Officer positions.

JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting the company's financial products and services, acquiring new customers, maintaining customer relationships and achieving assigned sales targets to support business growth and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales and Business Development

• Identify and approach potential customers to promote the company's financial products and services.
• Conduct field visits and sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Identify new markets and opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

1. Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management

• Attract new customers through referrals, networking, field visits and other approved sales channels.
• Explain the company's products and services to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Follow up on enquiries to convert prospective customers into active customers.
• Respond to customer enquiries and refer complex issues to the appropriate officer.

1. Sales Reporting and Performance Monitoring

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer leads, sales activities and completed transactions.
• Monitor progress against assigned sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Report on new customers acquired, sales achieved and potential business opportunities.
• Provide management with customer feedback, market information and recommendations to improve sales performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, marketing or customer service is an advantage.
• Experience in microfinance or financial services is an added advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Customer service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Good organisational, reporting and time management skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Achievement of assigned sales targets.
• Number of new customers acquired.
• Growth in sales volume and revenue.
• Number of prospective customers converted into active customers.
• Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS
