Role Overview

Reporting to: Security and Surveillance Manager Key Responsibilities: Patrol the Umodzi Park premises (Both Interior and Exterior) Identify risk areas on daily Security Checklist received from security shift Officer by assessing security risk of the complex and access posts. Assist Police with enquires by providing access to CCTV footage and recording. Provide guests with advice with regards to security and care for possessions. Exercise discipline in conjunction with Human Resources Manager, report staff incidents that does not fall in line with company’s policies and procedures. Provide guidance and oversight to outsourced security guards. Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience Must be in possession of a Diploma in Security studies or its equivalent; with not less than 6 years of working experience notably from the Malawi Police Services or Malawi Defence Force. Excellent knowledge of investigative skills and practices with attention to detail. Extensive knowledge and experience in the usage of computer and relevant security software applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to complete assignments in a timely manner. Fair understanding of the criminal procedure and evidence code. Must be conversant with modern corporate governance practices including reporting
